2 male pages
The District that lands on this tile must compete with another District in cutting a wooden log.
- The cutting will be performed by two pages per District who will position the logs and the trestles in the space in front of the public stands.
- The District that first cuts the log by sawing it through to the end, without splitting it and without manually forcing the separation, wins the competition.
- The challenged District will have the chance to choose the log to cut first.
- In case of saw breakage, each District will have the chance to replace it, even during the race; the spare saw will be provided by the race judge.
- The end of the cut for each District will be signaled by a Judge by raising a flag.
- Saws must be built with a wooden bow and a twisted rope tensioner; those with an iron bow are not allowed.
- If the challenging District wins the competition, it earns the points obtained with the die; if it loses the competition, it moves back to the dice-rolling tile.
