Participants: 9 pages.
The game is a tug-of-war contest between the Quarter that lands on this square and another Quarter chosen by draw.
- Each Quarter fields a team of 9 pages, lined up single file behind their own line, holding the rope.
- Wrapping the rope around the hands or around the body is forbidden: the rope may only be held with the hands.
- The Quarter that manages to pull the opposing team's foremost page across the line in front of them wins.
- Letting go of the rope before the final whistle is strictly forbidden: the Quarter that does so automatically loses the game.
- If the challenging Quarter wins the race, it gains the points scored with the dice; if it loses, it goes back to the square from which it rolled the dice.
