Sant'Agostino wins the Palione 2022

Despite the scorching heat, a packed crowd witnessed the Palione, a game in which only the veterans of the Historic Palio dell'Oca can participate.

After a fierce challenge in the splendid setting of Piazza Matteotti, this edition seemed endless, and once the games were over, the dice throwers tried several times without success to hit tile 54.

In the end, it was the Sant'Agostino dice thrower who prevailed over the other districts, kicking off the celebrations for the pink/black district.
